仙台に越してきたその日に、ボブ・ディランの「風に吹かれて」を口ずさみながら、片付けをしていた椎名（濱田岳）は、隣人の河崎（瑛太）に声をかけられた。「あの声は、神さまの声だ」そう言いながら、河崎はおかしな計画を椎名に持ちかける。
「一緒に本屋を襲わないか」同じアパートに住む引きこもりの留学生ドルジ（田村圭生）に、一冊の広辞苑を贈りたい、と言う。「彼には調べたいことが二つある。
